Ok so, people who are subscribed need to be told this? I can understand promoting the podcast every so often to make people aware of it, but the whole entire point of a podcast is to get people to subscribe, and then when it's updated, the new file will automatically show up. So, may I respectfully suggest that you not send out a message *every* time your podcast is updated? Usually, how it works is that podcast promotions happen only on special occasions or every so often.
If you send out a message every time it's updated and you update once a week, you can probably guess people are going to not only become particularly annoyed, but they probably won't even check your show out. Just trying to offer a friendly tip.
